With over 24 years of experience in the dental field, including 7 with Healthy Smiles Dental Care of Muskegon, you can expect top-notch service and attention every time you visit. Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Sevener is from Standish and actually knew he wanted to be a dentist ever since he was in sixth grade. We’re glad that he knew exactly what direction he wanted to take his career in from such a young age, and it shows. Despite many years in the field, he shows no signs of slowing down any time soon!
Education
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Once he graduated from the Standish-Sterling Central High School, Dr. Sevener would eventually enroll into the Alma College to complete his undergraduate education. From there, he attended the University of Detroit Mercy to earn his dental degree as well as complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. In more recent years, he’s undergone continuing education in dental implants and orthodontics to expand his skillset.

What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not working in the dental office, Dr. Sevener is happy to be raising two beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and camping. One thing many people don’t know about him is the fact that he served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years.
